I go to a website that does not require a username, only a password. However, Firefox insists on a username and won't let me into the site without one.

I have a website that I go to frequently that does not require a username, only a password. However, on Firefox it insists on a username, and won't let me enter the site without one. The website owner simply does not require a username. I just tried to check into another site and it insisted my password was wrong. I had just changed it and knew it to be correct in format. This relay system is screwing up my browsing and I want it off my machine. Help me!

I don't use Firefox Relay myself, but does this help: How to enable/disable the Firefox Relay icon on online fields and websites.

A username is mandatory, only the password field can be empty. You can probably simply enter a fake username to satisfy Firefox.

You can create a Login block exception for this origin (protocol and hostname) to prevent Firefox asking to modify/update the saved login.
