'When I try to sign in to Facebook on my laptop, it says that I am using the wrong password. But that password works for Facebook on my iPad and my iPhone. I'm wondering whether simply changing the password is a solution or whether this situation indicates something else is going on.

jellis4, do you manually type in the password in all cases, or do you use a password manager to fill the password in for you?

If you do type it in yourself, then maybe this is a keyboard layout issue? As in, the same physical key on your keyboard can produce a different output in the OS, depending on the OS's keyboard layout settings?

Have you tried typing the password into a text editor to see if the password you are expecting corresponds to how the OS is interpreting what you have typed?
