Opening local HTML files.

I hope to add the feature of opening local HTML files to Firefox Android version. Firefox used to support this feature in the past, but it was removed after the release of Firefox Daylight, which was restructured. Firefox supports opening PDF files, but it does not support opening HTML files, although opening HTML files is closer to the browser's function than opening PDF files.

Hi

It is currently not possible to open saved HTML files in Firefox for Android. There are no plans to allow this in the near future.

Link above shows it's been a question for some users since at least 2021. Why not add regular browser features that should exist, but don't, for Android? This is one feature I really wish Firefox had, because every page I want to view needs to use Chrome or some other "capable" software.

I thought Firefox was about freeeing and giving the user an alternative in this world run by large conglomerates?

While you're add it, some normal keyboard shortcuts would be useful. I hate grabbing my BT mouse to use firefox when chrome supports the simple Ctrl-L we're used to.

Sincerely, Nathan Middleton

P.S. My tone isn't that great. This is just one more feature I recently discovered missing. It's already hard to use FF because I'm such a heavy keyboard user, now I just simply want to view a local file and it can't do that, but it could if I maybe ran a web browser on my tablet? Odd and agrivating artificial limitations. So I apologize about my tone.
