I followed the online instructions to move TB from my old W10 computer to my W11 computer. Inbox and Sent emails transferred ok.

What still is MIA is (1) My Address Book entries from W10. The W11 Address Book has no entries, (2) All the folders created in W10 below Local Folders. I see W11 does not permit creation of a folder under Local Folders.

If anyone can illuminate either (1) or (2), please tell me how?

Please share where online instructions are so they can be reviewed to understand what you did. To retrieve the addressbook, do this:

  1. on old PC, exit thunderbird and copy the profile to external medial
  2. on new PC, click tools>import>import a file>import addressbook and then click the option for sqlite database file, and then locate the profile from old PC and select the file named abook.sqlite
