I have a working version of Thunderbird on my desktop, but I cannot find the password it uses to access Gmail, so that I can use it to access Gmail via Thunderbird on my new laptop?

This email is being written from my desktop because I cannot sign in to use Thunderbird for my current and only {legally limited) email account, because I cannot open a new email account lawfully.

The password for Gmail on one PC cannot be used on another PC. Google places a unique code for each account. You need to use you password you use online when setting up another PC, and Google uses that to confirm who you are and then places a unique code on that PC.
