I just downloaded Eudora 8.0 beta 9 because I purchased a new 64 bit computer and cannot use the classic Eudora 7. When composing a new message, I cannot get the toolbar that has the editing buttons, e.g. bold, italics, underline, centering, etc. How do I get them?

Hello Peter.

Please contact Eudora's author for support.

Eudora 8 is being developed as part of Mozilla, by the same people working on Thunderbird. My suggestion is to use the Thunderbird support forums.

Thunderbird support is over here. http://www.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/support/ or here: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=39

Someone else advised that I change setting to use HTML -- problem solved. Thank you.
