You can change the file extension of the files to .jpg --- "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now" "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies" --- See also "Reset Download Actions": http://kb.mozillazine.org/File_types_and_download_actions

If you have saved image files that do not work then rename in Windows Explorer them and change the (html) file extension to .jpg That should give you a valid image.
