Firefox 3.6.4 keeps wanting me to update. I have done this several times even though I already have the update w/ Windows 7. Why is it constantly asking me to update it again?

I have Windows 7. I have updated the Firefox 3.6.4 version but it keeps asking me to update this many times. Why?

This happened

A few times a week

== with in a couple of weeks after updating the first time.

Download and install stable Firefox 3.6.3 from http://www.getfirefox.com

Since you have 3.6.4, you are participating in an ongoing beta program. The updates are progress towards getting 3.6.4 ready for final release. This will probably be happening this week.

You were notified of how to remove yourself from this beta program when Firefox updated: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/3.6.4/whatsnew/

Correction: You would have only seen this the first time you updated to 3.6.4 (the version number changed). So I could understand missing it.
