I can't stand to look at the Google sidebar and simply want it out of site without having to remove the address bar and don't know any other to do that except to click on view, then tool bars, then unchecking the navigation check box and was wondering if there is another way to remove that pesky and annoying Google sidebar

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

== Firefox was installed

Try to look into Tools > Add-ons > Extensions/Plugins and disabling anything Google-related, then restarting Firefox and checking for the issue.

You can drag the Google search bar on the Navigation toolbar back into the View > Toolbars > Customize window.
