How to get the safemode box from always appearing when I click the FF icon on my desktop

When I click the FF icon on my home page to open the home page, I get the safe mode box first and am not able to skip this step when opening FF

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

from the time I downloaded FF

User Agent

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.6) Gecko/20100625 Firefox/3.6.6
