I am used to typing a site-name into the navigation window, hitting "ENTER" and going to that website. Example: i Type in "Amazon", hit "ENTER" and I go to immediately to Amazon. Now, since the last update, it does a Bing search. I don't WANT a Bing search, and if I did, I'd go to Bing myself.

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

== It just started after a recent update.

After an item in the monthly update by Microsoft on 06/08/2010 that made single word searches default to Bing. Microsoft seems to not be interested in offering a fix for those who are affected, but did issue a revision of the update after much complaining with no explanation as to how to correct the situation. There has been a great deal of discussion on this forum concerning the issue. Some users have found a solution, some have not.:
