I have just downloaded Firefox Mozilla. But I have absolutely no toolbar or other click-on commands across the top of the page. The only items on the top of the page are a Trend Micro (my anti-virus) legend, a Safe page legend and a wi-fi legend ... nothing else, so I can't access the the "fix" commands suggested on this site. I am not at all computer literate, so please send suggestions in very basic, lay terms. Thank you. Marvin Shapiro

In Firefox 3.6 and later on Windows you can hide the "Menu Bar" via "View > Toolbars" or via the right-click context menu on a toolbar.

Press F10 or press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.

Go to "View > Toolbars" or right-click the "Menu Bar" or press Alt+V T to select which toolbars to show or hide (click on an entry to toggle the state).
