Hello all,

I run different Joomla 1.5 website, on different hosting companies and also on local, and I observed a saving issue. Not always when I made setting modification on general configuration panel or on article panel the system applying the new settings or the article modification or configuration file. To be more specific you can see the strange behavior here. I have posted the same issue on Joomla forum. Looking forward for your help. Best regards, Roland

When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site. I noticed in your other thread that you didn't want to do that. But if you change your mind:

1. Clear Firefox's Cache

Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

2. If needed, delete the site's cookies

Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

or

right-click the page, choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"

Carefully remove the site's cookies individually, do NOT click remove "all" unless you really want to remove all your cookies (there is no undo for this dialog).

I don't know whether you have used Firefox's Error Console, but immediately after you experience this, you might open it (Tools menu), scroll to the end, and see whether there are any error messages relating to the page.
