I have downloaded the latest version of Firefox. I am running Mac OS 10.4.11. The download works fine and I have closed Firefox.

When I go to put the app into the applications folder, as instructed, I am told: "The operation cannot be completed because you do not have sufficient privileges for some of the items."

I am currently running Firefox 3.0.

Download a new copy of the Firefox program: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html

Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean reinstall.

Install the new version that you have downloaded.
