for google.co.uk form search box:

this app allows searching to any website search box (very good) so set it to Google.co.uk https://firefox.maltekraus.de/extensions/add-to-search-bar

   add the addon
   go to google.co.uk
   right click (or control click if mac) on the google.co.uk search box
   the select "add to search bar" 

--- for search google.co.uk from address bar

1. Type "about:config" in address bar, and click 'I Promise'. 2. Type google in the top box 3. scroll down to Keyword.url (near the bottom) 4. click and carefully change the .com to .co.uk (see below)
