For years I started with the traditional Firefox start page. (Box to enter a search parameter or question)

All of a sudden it opens with Babylon. I can not even find Babylon in my list of Programs. I can not get rid of it either.

For details of how to reset the home page, see the how to set the home page article.

To remove Babylon, a couple of places to check. First check the Firefox add-ons manager to see if there is a Babylon extension installed, for details on doing that see uninstalling add-ons.

The next place to check is the Windows Control Panel's add/remove programs dialog. For details on using that see how to change or remove a program in Windows XP
