Lately when I open Firefox, the back arrow is not an option. How can this be fixed, can I do something, is there an update I'm missing?

It happens regularly. Sometimes, when I close Firefox and open it again, the problem disappears, but sometimes I have to close Firefox two or three times before the problem disappears.

If I do not get a fix, or the problem is not resolved - within the next few days, I will have to ditch Firefox. I use the back arrow frequently enough that if I don't have access to it while using Firefox, I will go to Bing or Opera, or somewhere that has that access built into their package.

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
