I downloaded Firefox Mobile to my Samsung Epic Galaxy 4G phone and followed the installation instructions. When I try to launch the browser I briefly get a white screen and then the application closes. I tried uninstalling and then re-installing Fennec and had the exact same results. I have 15+ GB available on my SD card and 257 MB available internal memory on the phone. I'm stumped.

Did you download a nightly build? Today's nightly build was broken and crashes on startup; we will have a new nightly build available in a couple hours from https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/Platforms/Android

Or you can download the official Firefox 4 beta release from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/mobile/download/

Please let us know whether this solves your problem.

This is now fixed in the latest nightly build at https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/Platforms/Android

Thanks, that was exactly my problem. For my initial download of the app I had inadvertently scanned the nightly build instead of the Beta 4. I uninstalled the former and then downloaded and installed the correct version and it works great! Thanks. Will now update to the new nightly build.
