The most visited folder in the toolbar doesn't seem to update and does not have the same content as the most visited list in the bookmarks library.

The content under the most visited tag on my toolbar doesn't seem to update and contains some sites I have only visited once. If I look at organise bookmarks there is a library folder for most visited which seems to have correct information and which is very different from the list of sites under the toolbar tag. How do I get the latter list to update?

Is that a smart bookmark with the same folder icon as the working version?

If a copy and paste of the working "Most Visited" bookmark in the Bookmarks Manager (Library) doesn't give a working copy the you can create a new "Most Visited" bookmark with the location set to place:sort=8&maxResults=10

You need to paste the full text in the location field of that new bookmark and probably need to close and restart Firefox to make it work as a smart bookmark.
