A PCWorld article #171196 has speed up options for firefox and describes how to search for the commands to change the settings. However none of the articles found explain settings that can be changed to speed up the browser. They have me search the web and Mozilla site to locate the commands to open the settings to be changed.I can not see any of the commands to open the dialog boxes to change the settings,. I only see examples of the settings and how to modify them once the panel is open. Next box shows the web site referring me to use mozilla features, but I cant seem to understand the results mozilla is giving me

Type about:config in the URL bar and hit Enter.
If you see the warning, you can confirm that you want to access that page.
