I just installed the latest production version (3.6.13). I am new to Firefox, but when I started using it, I found I was unable to navigate sites using the back button. Both my back and forward buttons are ALWAYS disabled. No problem navigating the same sites with IE7. Its is beyond annoying. Is there something I am overlooking?

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
