I downloaded firefox but don't get the toolbar with bookmarks , tools, back and forward area, place where you type a web address etc.

Is the menu bar missing? If it is see the menu bar is missing article for details of how to restore it.

The Navigation buttons like back, home, bookmarks and reload are missing article may also help.
