In IE/Tools/Internet Options/Privacy/ there is a check box for "Never allow websites to request your physical location". Any means of tracking a physical location should have some means of control. How does Firefox address this potential exposure?

Firefox will ask you whenever you visit a site that uses geolocation and requests your location if you want to share it. It will remember your choice for each site that uses geolocation. You can subsequently remove permission from a site if you wish. For more details on this see http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/geolocation/
