How to permanently change from basic mode to standard mode

more options

I have 2 computers, both running Firefox. The desktop (MS XP) opens in the standard mode, the laptop(Win7) in basic mode. I would like both to open in standard mode but cannot see how to do this. It is easy to change to standard mode, but it always reverts to basic mode next time it opens. I have searched help and cannot see how to change. Did I miss setting this when I installed on the laptop.

Sorry, that isn't a Firefox support issue. Try using a Windows support forum for help with that issue.
