Trying to view an archived webinar. When I click on "view webinar" it says something like "Known issues with firefox 3.6. Use another browser."

When I went to the Firefox plugin page, it said "Windows Media Player 11 not available. What can I do now?

Windows Media Player does not include a plugin for Firefox. Microsoft have made one and you can get it from http://port25.technet.com/pages/windows-media-player-firefox-plugin-download.aspx

You may also need to copy the plugin file np-mswmp.dll into the Firefox\plugins folder as detailed in the 2nd paragraph of the "Installing the new plugin" section of the following article. (Note: In Firefox 4 beta versions, the Firefox\plugins folder does not exist by default, but will be used if you create the folder, then copy the plugin into the newly created folder).

  1. Check your plugin versions: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/
    • Note: plugin check page does not have information on all plugin versions
  2. Update the Java plugin to the latest version.
