I've agreed to have automatic updating of my Mozilla Firefox Browser. Is there any security risk for me in agreeing to have this done?

There is no security risk, updates are handled on a secure HTTPS connection.

However, not all Firefox updates are trouble free.

You should evaluate the potential for improvement against the possibility of not having a working browser when you need it most.

By electing to manually update the software you can avoid having a browser issue when you need to jump online quickly to do a task.

Making a restore point before updating software can be a good thing.
