Firefox 4.0 causing near constant hard disk spin?

Every since I've installed Firefox 4.0, my hard disk starts spinning the moment I do any active browsing or typing in the browser. It seems as though everything I do in 4.0 is being cached to my hard disk.

This never happened with 3.6. Also, it doesn't happen when I use Internet Explorer.

Perhaps there's a cache or memory setting I can change to fix this problem? I do have Memory Fox installed. Perhaps there is a conflict?

I just reinstalled 3.61 and my hard drive stopped the constant spinning.  :)

You can downgrade back to Firefox 3.6 by going here . I didn't need to do anything else including uninstalling 4.0 or any associated upgrades.
