I upgraded to Firefox 4.0 on a MacPro OS X.6.6. I want to keep Tabs open when quitting; before I upgraded Firefox asked me if I wanted to close Tabs when quitting or keep them open. It no longer asks and closes all Tabs when I quit.

I upgraded to Firefox 4.0 yesterday. I run it on a MacPro OS X.6.6. I want to keep Tabs open; before I upgraded Firefox asked me if I wanted to close Tabs when quitting or keep them open. It no longer asks and closes all Tabs when I quit. I found some Help articles about the problem but could not figure out how to do what the articles instructed.

How can I keep my Tabs from closing down when I quit Firefox?

Thanks

The solution is: 1. Press the alt key so the menu bar shows up beside the firefox tab on top left. 2. Click on Tools and the Option 3. Make sure you are on the General tab 4. Where it says "When Firefox starts - click the drop down menu 5. Select "Show my windows and tabs from last time" 6. Done

Firefox 4 saves the previous session automatically, so there is no longer need for the dialog asking if you want to save the current session.
You can use "History > Restore Previous Session" to get the previous session.
There is also a "Restore Previous Session" button on the default about:home Home page.
