My website www.nayd.org has many URL's with uppercase letters eg www.nayd.org/Egypt.htm yet if someone types in www.nayd.org/egypt.htm - a 'page not found error' comes up in firefox. Why?

That is a server problem and not a Firefox problem. On Unix file names are case sensitive, so avoid using uppercase characters in file and path names.
