In google I could click on a refresh button to reload a page or click on the little house to go back to my home page. It appears now that i have to click the back button to go back a page at a time. I don't like it. How can I change it back.

Click-hold the unified Back / Forward button, or right-click it to get the Back / Forward history for that tab.
Or install this extension to get the old "drop-marker" button restored.

Firefox 4.0 has a combined Reload, Stop, and Go button that appears at the right end of the location bar. Only one of those functions is active at any time.
To restore the Firefox 3 appearance you can use these steps:

  • Open the "View > Toolbars > Customize" window to move the Stop and Reload button out of the location bar.
  • Move the Reload and Stop buttons to their previous position at the left side of the location bar.
  1. Set the order to "Reload - Stop" to get a combined "Reload/Stop" button.
  2. Set the order to "Stop - Reload" to separate them and get two distinct buttons.

Using the Home button hasn't changed in Firefox 4, although the button has been moved to the right-side of the Navigation Toolbar, to the right of the Search Bar.
