where is the plugin folder

ive searched everyone on my linux system and i cant seem to find the described "plugins" folder, i AM searching the main installation folder the only thing i can find is plugin-container, is this the right thing to get a java plugin symbolized into firefox

By default Firefox 4 does not have a plugins folder. You can add a plugins folder if you need it as a sub-folder in the installation folder.
