many sites that have "go" buttons i.e Late Rooms or Holiday Inn have a go/next button but this does not show on the desktop when the page load. If I move around the screen eventually the curser will change and identify where it is. How do I get over this

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Windows Accessibility settings.
