The exception to loading images setting seems too only work on some websites. Like www.google.com it works. I can set the exception to this site either to allow or block and it works. But for www.mozilla.com and many others it has no effect. But the check box always works. If I block all images than the images at www.mozilla.com are blocked. But if I allow images and add an exception for www.mozilla.com status = block it has no effect.

You can use these steps to block images from a specific domain:

  • Click the "More Information" button to open the "Page Info" window with the Security tab selected (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
  • Go to the Media tab of the "Tools > Page Info" window.
  • Select the first image link and scroll down through the list with the Down arrow key.
  • If you want to block images then place check-mark in the box "Block Images from..." to block the images from that domain.

You can set the permissions for the domain in the current tab in Tools > Page Info > Permissions
