The main navigation toolbar with the address box is missing? To display that, tap the Alt key to display the classic menu bar, then choose

View > Toolbars > Navigation Toolbar

You can use the same technique to display any other missing toolbars.

Does that help?

The navigation dropdown is there and I have clicked on it. Should there now be FF website, like with xp, that I can use to email. Thanks for your help with the Nav dropdown.

I wonder whether you have a backup of your XP computer. You can use the files in your old Firefox profile from XP to restore bookmarks, add-ons, and your home page in the new copy of Firefox on Windows 7.

This article would help with that process: Recovering important data from an old profile.

If you don't have that, then you can manually go to your email site and make that your home page. If you were using the old Firefox start page that went to Google, you can go to http://www.google.com/ and make that your home page.
