Sorry for the question, but an applet that runs on IE will not run on Firefox. Everything else I have seems to work OK, or can I enable it somehow ? this is the website (http://www.isleofwightweather.co.uk/live_storm_data_150.htm) The first screen does not work on Firefox.

You can see in "Tools > Add-ons > Plugins" if the Java plugin is installed and also on the about:plugins page via the location bar.
Your above posted plugins list doesn't list the Java plugin.

Install the latest version of the Java plugin.
