Hello, my name is Haysly Wells. I am in the process of purchasing a new comouter, and I intend to give the one I am currently using to my little brother. How do I prevent Firefox from automaticly using my login names and passwords on sites like Yahoo?

Firefox remembers my login names and passwords for certain sites like Yahoo. How do I turn it off, so that other users cant access my e-mails?

Chosen solution

To clear your saved passwords, go into Firefox's Options dialog, click Security at the top, and you will see options regarding your saved passwords. You can click the "Saved passwords..." button to manage and delete them.

You may also want to clear your cookies and other data with the Clear Recent History dialog, using the drop down menu to select Everything and be sure to click the arrow by Details to select exactly what you want deleted.

If it isn't obvious how to find the Options dialog and the Clear Recent History dialog, they are both under the Tools menu if you have your menu bar shown, or else are in the main Firefox menu as Options or History > Clear Recent History.

Edit: Well, I didn't notice at first your OS was Linux Mint 10. Your Options dialog is actually under Edit > Preferences.
