the google search box has started directing me to google.com not .co.uk

When I used to use the built in google search feature it used to give me results on the google.co.uk page, however it now has started to use the google.com page, so when I use the shopping search everything is form american vendors in $ How can I restore/change it back to using google.co.uk?

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
