i lost some functionality when i updated to FF4 so i'm not keen to change to FF5. also, im happy with FF4 now i dont want to learn a new layout/features etc etc i just want FF4, at least for now. but there is no option to stop the constant reminders to upgrade to FF5. IT'S DRIVING ME MAD! please help. thanks

i've now found the answer in FF help. in case anyone else needs it:

tools options update deselect FF check box.
