when upgraded to Firefox 4 error message "you must restart your pc" stops me from opening, correcting, deleting or downloading it
Immediately when Firefox 4 was released I upgraded. Immediately after upgrading couldn't open, uninstall, correct or replace it because of a window asking "to restart my computer so that previous upgrade should take place". When I did so it appeared again to the eternity. I saw that Zone Alarm which I use a decade now is conflicting with Firefox 4 so I asked them for clean uninstall instructions but they said there are not any and just to uninstall from add/remove programs. I did so but traces of ZA remain in my pc and do not know how to remove them. I installed another firewall, a security suite in fact that found a vulnerability to my Firefox as follows: "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe.moz-delete has a vulnerability and must be repaired." When I had ZA firewall I had also Norton antivirus and cannot perform system restore to before I upgraded to Firefox 4. So I need instructions to repair my Firefox which do not use since version 4 was released because of this situation.

Uninstall Firefox. Search Firefox in your Windows drive (C:\) and DELETE all Firefox folders found in the search.
<removed suggestion to use the registry editor - edited by moderator>
Now Restart your computer and re-download Firefox from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/fx/
Check and tell if its working.
