I want to install an update to CCleaner on my computer. When I run it, it says firefox needs to close - then install update - then start firefox again. How do I stop firefox and restart it again?

You don't need to disable Firefox just close it in the usual way -

X in top right hand corner, or

Firefox button>Exit.

If Firefox seems to be closed already, it may not have shut down properly. Use the Task Manager to close the application or finish the process.

One further comment - When using CCleaner, which I do, do not check any of the boxes in the Advanced section; they come with heavy warnings.
