For instance--if I open my bank all I see is text---I do not see the Bank Logo or its pretty pictures---this happens on all emails, surfing the web----opening a favorite, just everything.

Have you disabled images? Check Options > Content and Exceptions opposite "Load images automatically". Another possibility is that stylesheets are disabled from there. At that site, check the View menu > Page Style and make sure that "No Style" is not checked.

Also make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Windows Accessibility settings

  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : [X] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"
