I'm having problems logging into Skype. I've reloaded Skype, checked the firewall, and still unable to get online. A pop-up indicates that there is not an active internet connection, but that doesn't seem possible. I am on a Toshiba laptop with Vista, and connected with a AT&T modem. Firefox works fine on all other applications. Without live people to talk to at Skype, I don't know what else to try. Thanks if you have help to get this resolved.

Try to Configure the Connection Settings of Skype as they are Set in Firerfox

Check and tell if its working.

BTW: This is a Skype problem, so ask this from Skype Technical Support

Thanks for trying, but that didn't seem to work either. The only connection settings I could find were those that allow getting thru the firewall, and those looked to be compatible. Are there others , and how do you check them? Skype tech assistance is virtually non-existant, providing only possible solutions on their website: no live person to talk to. Thanks again.
