Firefox is automatically saving my username and password on site that I allowed to save. But now it is posting my username and password into a "Join" page where it requires another person to enter their desired username and password.

How do I stop this from happening. How do I stop firefox from saving my username and passwords once I allow it to happen?

  • Click the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop down list
  • Highlight an entry in the drop down list
  • Press the Delete key (on Mac: Shift+Delete) to remove it.

Firefox will remember new form data when entered.
