Can I increase text size permanently i.e. not to repeat CTRL & + for every email/text?

I just purchased a new Windows 7 and with Firefox the text is too small. I can hold CTRL and press+ to increase the text size, but I have to repeat the operation every time I open a new email etc! I did not have to do that on my HP 2004 computer with Firefox. Can I set a readable text size permanently? Never had that problem before.

The Firefox Page Zoom feature does a domain by domain level of saving the users preferred zoom level settings, there is no default Page Zoom level setting in Firefox.

Try the Default FullZoom Level extension:
