I'm using Firefox 3.6.19 on Mac OSX 10.6 PPC. Recent Mac Software Update done, then the problem with Firefox appeared. Password Manager has stopped working. I can input to the box but passwords are not recognised. The box accepts the password then the box reappears almost immediately, requesting master password again. I can't access my saved passwords through preferences either. I cannot access any Firefox passwords.

I have re-installed Firefox, but that's made no difference. I have tried to change the master password, but I can't tell whether it was accepted or not - no change to problem...

Also, when I opened Firefox this morning, the window 'stuck' to my cursor and kept being dragged around the screen. That finally stopped, but not sure why.

HELP!!!!

See:

If using the chrome url (chrome://pippki/content/resetpassword.xul) doesn't work then delete the files key3.db and signons.sqlite in the Firefox profile folder.

Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder

You need to set a new Master Password after renaming or deleting key3.db and all currently saved passwords are lost.
