How can i get it Firefox to open centered in actual window size rather than centering in window based on monitor size?

more options

When I updated Firefox, suddenly my search window (which is my default "home" page) doesn't center in my browser window. Instead, it centers inside a browser window based on my monitor size so often, I can't even see what I am typing unless I resize the window. I have a 27" monitor. This has never happened before.
