Valid data entry (using Cyrillic font) into Java input box opens new Java applet window as expected; however, menu bar at top of window does not appear so that drop-down options for further processing can not initiate

Java applet plugin 14.0.3 installed and updated 6/16/2011. Tested OK at test site. Same problem with Safari browser. Menu bar shows correctly with PC browsers, so I have to use PC to proof coding progress of project.

Issue resolved; I now see that the drop-down menu is accessed from the main tool bar at the top of the browser window rather than within the applet window itself. Processing within the applet itself proceeds correctly.
