When I open up a new tab the screen says "You have opened up a new Tab"....Informative but not particularly helpful... Can I set it so the new tab opens up on the google home page?

Thanks the-edmeister. Your solution worked a treat. I had a problem with the AVG toolbar overwriting this but once I turned the AVG search bar off it was perfect. Great job. Thanks
