I would like to create a shortcut to my desktop for my bank. However, the directions say to drag the icon in the address box to the desktop. My bank, for security reasons I guess, does not show an icon that will drag. How can I create a shortcut?

You should still see the favicon as part of the Site Identity Button on the left end of the location bar if you have a secure https connection with your bank.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Hi ksouza,

Here is how you create a desktop shortcut to a website. I tested this in Windows 7, but Windows Vista really isn't that far apart, so it should work.

Right click an empty area of your desktop. Place the mouse cursor over New, then click on Shortcut. Copy and paste the website address into the location field when the dialog box comes up. Click Next, then type in a title for that shortcut, then click Finish. Hope that works for you!
