  • As an alternative method, use Win + R key combination and enter one of the following in the Windows Run box:

    • "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -safe-mode

-> Firefox Safe Mode window will appear -> DON'T SELECT ANY OPTIONS, just click Continue in Safe Mode

Hi,

It is working as you have mentioned above. Is this going to be permanent or temporary problem?

Thanks again for your prompt reply.

Use the 1st link mentioned in my previous reply to solve your problem.

Is it working fine without using Firefox Safe Mode ??

IF Not, then you will need to determine which one of the following is causing the problem:

  • 1) Hardware Acceleration
  • 2) Extension (add-on)
  • 3) Theme (persona)

Check and tell if its working.

Hi,

Firefox safe mode was working yesterday. But, trying it now safe mode wasn't working at all.

I have removed the above 3 points. I think the problem is in 'Manage Add-ons' - because when clicked on it and this error kept popping up.

'TypeError: this._nativeWrapper is null'

I think I will uninstall this version and install the previous version. Install once this problem is sorted for good.

Thanks for your help in this regard.

But, trying it now safe mode wasn't working at all. What do you mean by that ?? Are you now unable to start Firefox in Safe Mode ??

The problem you are facing is mostly caused by some add-on. Use the 1st link in my 1st reply to find out which add-on is causing the problem.
